O That Phoney War

When Tony Blair preached his “War on Values”, he was perfectly correct to state that “We will not win the battle against global extremism unless we win it at the level of values as much as force”. But in the eyes of many, he is just as much an extremist as the people he is referring to.
Is it really that hard to comprehend that violence cannot be eradicated by violence? No. All these wars are self-serving. The objective is not to change but to maintain the status quo.
Talk about democracy and they will never make any references to Saudi Arabic and Egypt, two of the most oppressive regimes in the Middle-east. For if they do and start asking their “friends” to become a little more democratic, they know full well that these states will become one of their so-called rogue regimes overnight.
Talk about equality and they start claiming the good work they have done to all those Black American, Bristish Muslim, Chinese American, Hispanic American. But as long as there are different British and different American, how can there be real equality?
Forget all those political slang. Religions are divisive whether it’s Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hindism or Buddhism. We are fanatics whether we hold a wrong and reactionary view of Islam or a correct and conforming view of capitalism.
Wars cannot eliminate terrorism. Wars terrorize people to breed more hatred - they create terrorism. There is only one way to root out hatred and ensure our children to live in a peaceful world. We know we have won when

You can blame me for being born in the wrong place at the wrong time but please don’t blame me for not working hard for my AAA Strip Loin. I am not askng a holiday in southern France, I just want some rest after my 16-hour workday.
