Completely Blown Away

I was never a fan of Johnny Cash but thanks to Dangerous Orange who introduced me to a Johnny Cash I didn’t know before. I have been kept playing “Hurt” last week - unstoppable, completely blown away. And the sad fact is that it very much sums up my feeling this new year.

I remember watching a video clip of how NIN was over Johnny Cash recording Hurt. Even NIN was blown away by the power of Cash’s voice, even as old as he was when this was recorded.
Was listening to “God’s going to cut you down” just a couple of hours ago. Cash seemed to never lose his grasp of the soul of a song.
